More info

USE: lime, wax, paint, plaster, fresco, glaze, cement, fine arts, flour painting.
This pigment is powder. For use in Artistic painting, it should be finely ground in a mortar before mixing with the binder.
Flaxseed oil: Dilute the powder in a little turpentine before adding it to the linseed oil.
water-based paint / lime paste: dilute the pigment in a little water to make it liquid before adding it to the paint.
lime powder / cement / plaster: incorporate the pigment directly, then mix in order to stain all of your binder.
recommended dosage: The maximum dosage is 10% relative to the binder used. Above 10%, it is recommended to incorporate fixers and adjuvants (use lime).

bleu Kossoghol with lime

Photo on the left: the pigment is mixed in the badisof plus (limewash ready to use, which you can find in our decorative range) at the rate of 5% or 50 g of pigment per kilo of whitewash.
Right picture: the pigment is mixed in the badisof plus 20% pigment or 200 g per kilo of whitewash.
These renderings can be similar for any white base mixed with this pigment. However, differences will be possible for the use of paints more or less loaded with titanium dioxide (white pigment), which will give a final color more or less clear.
If you want to lighten a pigment, before coloring a transparent binder (linseed oil, wax, acrylic binder, caparol, flour ...), you can mix it with white tiona.

Color: sky blue pulling slightly on gray, mixed with a white binder

It is customary to represent the Orient with warm and spicy colours, red and yellow saffron for example… but the Orient is also Russia and Mongolia with their huge lakes with deep blue waters. Besides, isn’t the nickname of the Mongolian lake of the same name “dark blue pearl”?

In this, the magnificent “bleu Kossoghol” is indeed an oriental blue, opulent, luxurious, rich and sensual, very close to the blue adopted by the famous Orient-Express, no less!

Our packaging:
We use recyclable PET jars, disposable, clean in the yellow bins and glass jar, that you can clean and sterilize for other uses, even food.
