Citric acid is present in citrus fruits, but it should not be compared with the industrial citric acid that is produced by biochemistry.
Recipes :
To descale stainless steel faucets and shower heads, soak several hours in 2 tablespoons for 1 liter of hot water. Rinse.
Descale the toilet :
To remove limescale from the bottom of the bowl, pour citric acid and then flush the toilet after a few hours. Renew if necessary.
Descaling kettle and coffee machine :
Mix 2 tablespoons in 1 liter of water. Pour into the water compartment of your coffee machine or kettle. Operate the device. Leave on for 30 minutes then rinse thoroughly.
Protect your washing machine and dishwasher against limescale :
