Pigments in powder for Holi-Color festival
The Holi, sometimes called Festival of Colours, is a hidu festival from India celebrated around the spring equinox. The pigments are thrown into the air and all have a precise meaning: green for harmony, orange for optimism, blue for vitality, red for joy and love...
This phenomenon has been imported over the years to the four corners of the planet and many events take up this principle as the Color Run, a 5km run where the participants are all dressed up in white, become, at the end of the race, a real rainbow. At the start of the race, each rider is given a bag of coloured powder that he uses during the stage and every kilometre travelled, each time covering himself with a new colour from head to toe. Other types of events took over the concept such as music festivals.
