Badisof
What is Badisof ?
The Badisof is a ready-to-use aerial limewash for indoor use.
It allows to create brushed limewash with discreet and subtle shades, to change from traditional paintings, and has a velvety appearance. Less grainy than Badisof Plus, it also has more pastel hues. With Badisof, you choose an ecological and economical product, made in France.
It is applied with a brush on a suitable support, healthy and without irregularities. Our underlay (primer) Sofadher will be ideal before Badisof. No need to be a professional painter! It is accessible to everyone and even simpler to apply than traditional paint.
Warning : the Badisof like the Badisof Plus do not apply on a support that has had refills (porosity differences). It will be necessary to re-homogenize your wall beforehand (Renodress, contact us for an inappropriate support).
The Société des Ocres de France was one of the pioneers in the manufacture of ready-to-use lime paint more than 20 years ago.
What colours do you propose ?
Badisof exists in its natural version (without the addition of any pigment) or factory-tinted (about 100 colors to choose from, available in the "decorative range" section).
If none of these shades satisfy you, why not colour Badisof (Plus) yourself with our Ocres de France pigments ? On each pigment sheet, a small plate shows you the pigment rendering in the Badisof naturel in 2 different proportions. In short, the possibilities are endless !

What is in it ?
Everything that is natural is privileged in our paints: mineral fillers, such as marble powder, to provide strength and thickness; mineral pigments are used to elaborate the shades, which are therefore more pastel than in classic painting, and of course lime, which is a limestone used for centuries. However, be careful: like all powders, lime is irritating to the respiratory tract. Wearing a mask and gloves is strongly recommended during product implementation. However, no more worries to have once the preparation is placed on the wall.
Our paints are prepared in powder form, without water, to avoid the addition of preservatives and a more substantial weight, which would increase transport costs. Water must be added at the time of application, in the proportions indicated on the label and the data sheet.
Our buckets are recyclable, in the yellow bins, and can also be cleaned and reused.
For all these reasons, our limewashes carry the A+ rating.
What is its consumption ?
100 to 200 g/m² so about 20 m² wall with a bucket of 4kg and 40 m² wall with a bucket of 8kg of Badisof (2 layers included). On a normally absorbent support.
In what packaging does it exist ?
Badisof is available in 4 and 8 kg buckets.

Powder* : 100g of this colored badisof to apply yourself (refundable on the final order if this tint is selected).
* For sample processing, mix the entire volume of powder with a volume of water. Use the entire content (risk of color differences otherwise).
